The tower stands proudly at the corner of the Viking Triangle and is very deceptive! When you walk in, it is HUGE! The best way to describe it would be similar to stepping into Dr Who’s Tardis! There are three levels to check out with great information on the history of the tower and also Waterford city! Highly recommended is the top floor, where there’s a great video and also great views of the surrounding city!

Bunratty Castle & Folk Park (Clare)

The Bunratty folk park is a sprawling replica of what it would have been like to live in 19th century Ireland. As you move around the park, you get a sense of just how much is in it, how authentic it strives to be. There’s a farmhouse with a Mrs Brown type character making bread and sharing funny stories. You could end up walking around the park for hours. It’s truly a place where you’ll feel you’ve been transported to another time!

The Kilkenny Way Hurling Experience (Kilkenny)

This hurling experience will give you an insight into the world’s oldest and fastest field game in the ‘Home of Hurling’ Kilkenny! You can take the two-hour trip where you’ll learn the skills of the game, visit Nolan Park and finish up with some lunch, while watching the great game.
