Closure of Sallins Main Street (10th January – 07th March 2022)

Road closures will be in place in Sallins Village, Co Kildare from the 10th January 2022 until 7th of March 2022.

 

Services affected by the road closures:

– 139 Naas – Blanchardstown
– 846 Naas – Clane

– N06 Athy – Maynooth
– N08 Portlaoise – Maynooth
– N12 Kilkenny – Maynooth

 

Please see below the proposed detour which will be in place for each of the phases:

Phase 1: 10th – 23rd January 2022

All buses and coaches coming from Naas and heading towards Clane will be exiting the Sallins Roundabout towards Millennium Park and then onto Sallins Bypass. None of the bus stops in Sallins will be served during that time.

 

Passengers will be picked up / dropped off at the bus stop before Sallins Roundabout heading towards Clane and at Oldtown Rise bus stop towards Naas.

Phase 2: 24th January – 13th February 2022

Buses coming from Clane will be turning right onto Sallins Link Road, then onto the Sallins Bypass and towards Sallins Roundabout. The same route will be used towards Clane direction.

 

The only pick up / drop off points in Sallins will be at the existing bus stop at Saint Brigid’s.

Phase 3: 14th February – 07th March 2022

Buses coming from Naas and heading towards Clane will go through Sallins Village and will take a left turn onto Sallins Link Road, then onto the Sallins Bypass. The same route will be used on the way back to Naas.

 

The only bus stops not served during these dates will be at Saint Brigid’s, Sallins.
