JJ Kavanagh & Sons Christmas & New Year Schedule 2022 – 2023

Christmas is a time for celebrating so we want to make sure you get home to spend it with the ones you love. That’s why we are running services all across the Christmas period.

To guarantee your bus over the busy festive period we would urge all passengers to plan their journeys in advance and book their seat before travelling.

Main Routes & Airport Routes

Christmas Day is the only day when our Main Routes & Airport Routes are not in action. Our bus drivers need to take a little rest with their families! These services will resume fully on St Stephen’s Day and run as normal over New Years.

Carlow SETU Campus

All college services to Carlow SETU Campus will finish up on Thursday 22nd December 2022.

All services will start back on Monday 9th January 2023.

Maynooth University Routes

All buses serving Maynooth University will finish up on Friday 16th December and will start back for the exams on Friday 6th – 18th January (including Saturdays).

Local Routes

The following Town/Local services will finish on Friday 23rd December and recommence for the 28th to 30th inclusive. We will not be operating on New Years Day and will fully commence services on the 3rd of January 2023.

Waterford City Services

The Waterford City Service will finish up on Christmas Eve. The last service from Clock Tower to Dunmore road will be at 18:15hrs and the last service to Slieverue will leave the Quays at 17:45hrs. The service will fully resume on the Wednesday 28th of December 2022. We will not be operating on New Years Day and operating as normal from the 3rd January 2022.
