At JJ Kavanagh, we’re proud to be part of your daily commute, your weekend getaways, and everything in between. To keep providing the high-quality, reliable service you expect, we’re making some adjustments to our fares across all routes starting 1st May 2026.
Tips for the best value
We want to make sure you’re still getting the best bang for your buck. Here’s how to keep your travel costs down:
- Go digital: It is always cheaper to buy your tickets via jjkavanagh.ie or our mobile app than paying on the bus.
- Book early, save now: Any bookings made before 1st May will be honoured at the current lower rates—even if your travel date is later in the year!
- Young Adult discount: We are sticking by our 50% discount for Young Adult Card (YAC) holders when booking online.
- Guarantee your seat: The only way to secure a spot on your preferred bus is to pre-book online or through the app.
Easy travel management
Plans changed? No problem.
When you book online, you can use our “Manage Tickets” feature to easily swap your dates or times.
We appreciate your understanding and your continued support. We’ll see you on board soon!
These changes, approved by the National Transport Authority, help us manage rising operational costs while ensuring our fleet stays in top shape for your journey.
