With TFI (Transport for Ireland) Leap Cards, you can enjoy a 50% discount on all JJ Kavanagh college routes! To get this great discount you must have a valid YAC or Student Leap Card and pre-book your tickets on our website or mobile app.
How to Apply
The Student Leap Card
If you’re aged 16-18 years or 24 years old and over apply for your Student Leap card here to make use of 50% off fares.
The Young Adult Leap Card
If you’re aged 19-23 years and you do NOT have The Student Leap Card then apply for the YAC (Young Adult Leap Card) and make use of 50% off.
Good to know: If you already have a Student Leap Card, you’ll get the 50% reduction straight away without having to apply for a new Young Adult Leap Card. Just use your Student Leap Card as normal.
Where you can use your Leap Card
College Routes
To make use of the 50% student discount on our college routes, bus tickets can must be purchased prior to travel on the website. Select the ‘YAC’ ticket type when booking and enter the valid Young Adult Leap or Student Leap Card number.

Save big on weekly college route fares with YAC Leap
Young Adult or Student Leap Card Tickets can ONLY be purchased on the website by selecting the ‘YAC’ ticket type when booking. During the purchase of these tickets customers will be asked to enter the valid Young Adult Leap Card (19-24) or Student Leap Card number. Only one Young Adult or Student ticket can be purchased at a time as the card number must be validated during the booking process.
