Great news for concert-goers, theatre fans, and anyone heading into Dublin’s docklands: from Monday, 24th August, our 717 Clonmel to Dublin Airport service will call at a brand-new stop — North Wall Quay, 3Arena.
What’s changing on Route 717?
We’re adding one new stop to the route: North Wall Quay, 3Arena. That’s it — no other departure times on the 717 are changing. We’re simply slotting this new stop into the existing schedule, so if you already know your usual 717 times, they’ll stay the same.
Why the change?
North Wall Quay sits right beside two of Dublin’s biggest entertainment venues:
- 3Arena — Ireland’s premier concert and events arena
- Bord Gáis Energy Theatre — a short stroll away, home to top West End shows, comedy, and live performances
Whether you’re travelling from Clonmel, Cahir, Cashel, or anywhere along the route, you can now hop off right in the heart of Dublin’s live entertainment district — no need to transfer or walk from the city centre. It’s never been easier to catch a gig, a show, or a big event without the hassle of driving into Dublin or hunting for parking.
And because North Wall Quay, 3Arena will be an alternative Dublin city stop, you can also use it as a convenient starting or finishing point for trips into town, or to connect onward around the docklands.
Fares
Fares to and from North Wall Quay, 3Arena are the same as our other Dublin city stops, such as Georges Quay. No surprises, no extra charges — just an extra, more convenient place to get on or off.
