St Brigid Bank Holiday Updates

We’re sure you’re delighted that we’ve another bank holiday to add to the list of lovely long weekends! Ireland’s newest bank holiday celebrates Saint Brigid and this year it falls on Monday, 5th February. We’ll be making the usual adjustments to our scheduled services for the bank holiday as follows…

Service Adjustments for the St Brigid's Bank Holiday Weekend

Student Routes

Please note that all student routes will not be operating on the Monday bank holiday. This includes the following services

  • 736A Naas-Carlow
  • 825 Portlaoise to Carlow
  • Iwot Newbridge Carlow
  • ITC4 Mount Mellick to Carlow
  • NUM14 Portlaoise to Maynooth
  • NUM12 Carlow to Maynooth
  • NUM06 Athy to Maynooth

Our student passengers are advised to make alternative travel arrangements during this period. Regular service will resume after the bank holiday.

Maynooth College Routes

The 3 Maynooth college routes will be back in operation from Tuesday, the 6th of February, ensuring students can return to their routines with minimal disruption.

Local Routes

The following services do not run on public holidays, and will not be running this coming Monday, 5th Feb. 

 

  • 874 Hackettstown to Carlow
  • 871 Urlingford to Kilkenny 

Main Routes

Our main routes will operate as usual, with the exception of the following services that are cancelled for the bank holiday

 

  • 07:15 from Nenagh to Limerick
  • 09:00 from Limerick to Nenagh
  • 06:45 from Portlaoise to Dublin
  • 16:30 from Dublin to Portlaoise

Pre-book your tickets

It will likely be a busy weekend, especially our popular services such as the airport routes. We strongly recommend you pre-book your tickets before travel.
