Your role
As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transport of students on dedicated school routes across Waterford and Kilkenny, working set morning and afternoon hours during the school term.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out scheduled school pick-up and drop-off runs safely and on time
- Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all passengers on board
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks before and after each run
- Maintaining a courteous, professional manner with students, parents, and school staff
- Reporting any vehicle or route issues promptly
What you’ll need
- Valid Category D or D1 driving licence (essential)
- Garda vetting (required before start)
- A reliable, punctual, and responsible approach
- Good communication skills and a friendly manner
