Please note that Christmas Day is the only day our Main and Airport Routes won’t be running, giving our dedicated bus drivers a well-deserved rest with their families. Services will resume fully on St Stephen’s Day and will run as usual over New Year’s.
As the busiest time of the year, we kindly remind you to pre-book all your journeys, especially on our main and airport routes. Pre-booking ensures a guaranteed seat on our services – so your travel plans are secure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the holiday spirit.

All services to the Carlow SETU Campus will end on Friday, December 20th, 2024, and resume on Monday, 13th January 2025.

Maynooth University Routes
Buses serving Maynooth University will finish on Friday, 20th December 2024, resuming for exams from Friday, 10th January to 28th January 2025 (including Saturdays). Regular services will resume on Monday, 4th February 2025.

Limerick TUS
All services to and from TUS will finish on Friday, 20th December 2024, and resume on Monday, 13th January 2025.
Mary Immaculate College
Services to and from Mary I will cease on Friday, 20th December 2024, and resume as normal on Monday, 13th January 2025.
Local Routes
Town/Local Services will finish on Monday, 23rd December, recommencing on 27th December 2024. These routes will not operate on New Year’s Day, with services resuming fully on 2nd January 2025.

Waterford City Services
The Waterford City Service will finish on Christmas Eve, with the last services as follows:
- Clock Tower to Dunmore Road: 18:15 hrs.
- Slieverue to Quays: 17:45 hrs.

The Athlone Training Centre will be closed from Tuesday, 24th December 2024, to Wednesday, 1st January 2025 (inclusive). Operations will resume on Thursday, 2nd January 2025.
