Due to road closures and traffic restrictions associated with an official EU State Visit during Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, JJ Kavanagh will temporarily suspend services at selected Dublin city centre bus stops from midnight on Tuesday, 10th November until midnight on Friday, 13th November 2026.
During this period, Heuston Station will serve as the temporary pick-up and drop-off location for passengers travelling to and from Dublin city centre.
Services to and from Dublin Airport will continue to operate.

The temporary diversions will affect the following JJ Kavanagh routes:
The following Dublin city centre bus stops will not be served during the affected period:

Temporary Pick-Up and Drop-Off Location
Dublin City – Heuston Station will replace the above stops for passengers travelling to or from Dublin city centre.
Coaches travelling towards Dublin Airport will stop at Heuston Station before continuing to the airport.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional travel time, as road closures and diversions may cause delays.
Travelling to or from Dublin Airport?
Our Dublin Airport services will continue to operate in both directions throughout the affected period.
However, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey, particularly if you are catching a flight, as traffic restrictions may impact journey times.
Please give yourself plenty of time to reach your bus stop and complete your journey, as road closures and traffic restrictions may cause delays. We recommend planning ahead and allowing extra travel time.
